Last night, I had the honor of assisting Ryan Brenizer for a wedding in Singapore. He was flown in from New York after the couple saw his images from Flickr. Ryan is the inventor of the “Brenizer method” which is essentially using a telephoto lens to create a very shallow depth of field as if shot with a wider angle lens. This technique makes a dSLR image look like it was shot by medium format. Very cool! Ryan also did some off-cam flash portraits and composites which is also very cool! Overall, I had a wonderful time with Ryan and the best thing is, I got paid too! Yeah!
Here’s some randoms shot from the wedding.
Here’s Ryan working the ladies with his 2 x D3s!
